EGcomposer is a renowned Venezuelan-American artist, defined by his extraordinary human sensitivity and deep connection to music. A true creative, he is passionate about the beautiful, the good, justice, knowledge, philosophy, human behavior, science, aesthetics, fidelity, passion, love, art, creation, composition, and singing. Thanks to his natural musical talent and prodigious voice, EGcomposer has become a well-known figure in the musical world.
From an early age, he was involved as a singer in prestigious groups and children’s choirs, such as The Children's Choir "The Venezuelan White Voices", where he had the honor of singing for Pope John Paul II during his religious pilgrimage in the 1980s. He went on to pursue advanced studies in classical singing, classical guitar, complementary piano, theory, solfeggio, arrangement, and musical composition at the renowned José Ángel Lamas Music School in Caracas, Venezuela.
EGcomposer further honed his skills under the guidance of renowned Italian vocal master Enson Malfatti, a famous tenor from Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Italy. His youth also saw him study at the Pablo Castellano Higher School of Music in the city of Macuto, La Guaira, Venezuela, where he trained under Master Tiero Pezzuti, creator of the famous solfeggio and musical reading methods.
In addition to these accomplishments, EGcomposer received private singing lessons from the esteemed teacher Eduardo Lanz in Carayaca, La Guaira. His passion for music and the science of sound led him to further his education in Sound Engineering and Music Production at the respected Sound Art Workshop, now the Higher University Institute in Caracas, Venezuela, founded by renowned sound engineer Elmar Leal.
As an official tenor for the choir of the Teresa Carreño Cultural Complex, EGcomposer had the incredible opportunity to sing with and for international artists such as Luciano Pavarotti, Montserrat Caballé, Plácido Domingo, and many others. He also served as a volunteer assistant to renowned phoniatrist Dr. Joel Orta, learning everything about the physiology of the vocal apparatus and its proper use in singing and speaking.
After achieving great success as a composer, music producer, choir singer, and soloist in Venezuela, EGcomposer moved to the United States in 1994. After 11 years as an immigrant artist, he earned U.S. citizenship while continuing his musical studies and sound engineering experience. He participated in seminars, events, and productions in Opera, Jazz, and Latin Music, including Salsa and Merengue, and took part in prestigious events at the Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and Flushing Theater, among others.
With more than 40 years of artistic and teaching experience, EGcomposer is now a composer, music producer, event producer, singing teacher, voice director, and the director of his own music studio and production company, 369Events L.L.C., located in New York City. He dedicates his time to creating, training, and educating new musical talents, making a significant contribution to his community through education and mentorship.
